No you’re not going bananas - this ape really does look just like Rodin’s Thinker. While his fellow zoo animals prefer to monkey around all day, this ape would rather sit back, take a deep breath and ponder life in an almost human-like way. And just like the famous sculpture depicting a man in sober mediation - this ape couldn’t look any more intelligent. Keen photographer Tatyana Zaytseva, 40, captured the striking image at Prague Zoo while on a trip to the region last May. She said: "It seemed to me that its long serious intelligent stare showed some life experience and fatigue of millions of zoo visitors. "It’s impossible to tell exactly what it was saying - but I think this is what it tried to tell me. "I could not stop looking at its eyes. We humans sometimes speak with eyes only and there was a feeling that I was communicating with it using just our eyes. "The ape told me a bit about itself. And I hope I also could tell it something." The Thinker is a bronze and marble sculpture by Auguste Rodin from 1902. Since the original numerous other castings have been made and is often used to represent philosophy. But in this ape's case, he looks like he is dreaming of life in the wild. Tatyana, from Tyumen, Russia, added: "He was not alone in the enclosure. There were a couple of adults and some cubs running around. "But all of them were behaving just like monkeys should. But this one was special. "Only this ape attracted my attention as it was sitting motionless and not blinking for a long time. "It was an incredibly powerful sight."
