You would expect the world's largest fish to have one of the largest mouths in the deep and this enormous Whale Shark swimming off the coast of the Galapagos Islands is no exception. However, even though the 30 foot shark looks about to gulp down a massive meal of floating fish, it is actually about to receive some well needed dental treatment from them. Tiny Cardinal Fish enjoy a symbiotic relationship with the graceful giants, cleaning out the remains of plankton that the whale shark filters through its giant six-foot wide mouth.
