A Giant Panda finds that climbing is not as easy as first thought at the Bifengxia base of the Chinese giant panda protection and research centre, in Ya'an City, China. After getting stuck between branches high up in a tree, the hapless animal found that playing a "tyre swing" was a far safer way to play....well for a while at least ! The Bifengxia base was opened in 2003 and is arguably the best place to see pandas in the natural scenery they inhabitat.16 pandas were moved to the Bifengxia base, sharing their life in luxurious villas with accompaniments of air-conditioners, toilets, independent water supply system and sport areas.
