- (Pictured: The Orangutan plays in the water after becomming used to Jayaprakash . Pic taken: 24/08/2017.) - A photographer has captured the rare moment an orangutan takes a wash in the river - despite the risk of getting eaten. Jayaprakash Bojan, 41, snapped the male ape in the Tanjung Puting National Park, Kalimantan, Indonesia. The orangutan is rarely seen near water due to the risk of natural predators and so Jayaprakash jumped at the chance to watch the spectacle. The freelance photographer also risked his life and entered the river to get the perfect shot.
